Nicola Pulling
I've been a journalist for 20 years. I have worked in short and long form documentary - mostly in science & health. The work meant getting paid to travel around the world - to disasters, both humanitarian and natural - and wonders, both natural and humanitarian. For the last four years I have been working in the web world as a writer, producer, and now as Homepage Editor for TVOParents.com. And (this you're really going to resent) I get to sleep in on weekends. I may not have children of my own, but I see parenting, at the very least, as a communal effort. And in that light, I have thousands of children. And like you I want them to grow up healthy, happy and good. Not a bad gig. |

Sarah Michaelis
Sarah Michaelis always dreamed of being a journalist abroad risking life and limb for the sake of the story. So after obtaining an honours English degree at the University of Toronto, she headed for Ryerson's School of Journalism. By then, bombs and flak jackets seemed much less romantic than they used to and Sarah realized she'd rather stay on safe soil. After a stint at the CBC, Sarah moved to TVO's "Your Health" and then became a producer for "More 2 Life." She now happily writes for TVOparents.com when she's not a mom to a beautiful little girl. |
