The TVOParents team had a great time at the Word on the Street Festival this year. Cheryl Jackson hosted the festivities on the TVOKids Stage, where the TVOKids hosts performed along with other special guests.
Cheryl interviewed the poet Dennis Lee about his classic poem “Alligator Pie”, and author Kyo Maclear about her new kid’s book “Virginia Wolf”. Cheryl also spoke with singer-songwriter Jill Barber who performed with TVOKids’ Jay and sang “Baby’s Lullaby”, which is now a children’s book. Polkaroo was even spotted throughout the day.
