Our family's Christmas tree was delivered yesterday.  It is absolutely beautiful!

We celebrate Christmas, so this is the first tree our toddler-kid has had in Canada.  (We didn't have one last year, because we were travelling and home for the holidays for only very brief time.)  And with any tradition -- new or old -- I reflected on the past year and years.  First steps, first words, first day at daycare.
