Laurie Flasko went to hell and back with her daughter Amanda. She talks about the five years of darkness when Amanda suffered from depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, when she as a parent struggled with how to help her daughter as she moved from school to school trying to avoid her tormentors.  Many years later, Amanda is finishing a university degree and planning on doing a master's. She survived. So did Laurie and she learned a lot along the way. She now wants to pass on her wisdom to parents of kids who are bullied. How should you speak with your child? How should you approach the school? Should you try to speak with the parents of the bullies? When should you call the police?

Hindsight is 20/20, and Laurie's book "Bullying is Not a Game" offers clarity and straightforward advice on what to do, how to do it, and how to protect your child. Thank you Laurie for sharing your family's story and your insights.
