Luckily, Winston is shedding his antlers so Helmut can make some more flutes in time for the concert.

They were preserved in the bog and that's why they looked like new.

Alfred investigates and discovers that the ferns are called resurrection ferns because they mimic death and spring back to life once watered. THE GO KART MYSTERY - During a go kart race in the forest something causes Alfred, Camille and Cynthia to loose control and ruin the race. Alfred was hit by an egg, Camille avoided hitting little chicks and Cynthia was distracted when someone said "cuckoo". Alfred investigates and discovers a common cuckoo bird was making a new nest by kicking out the inhabitants of a nest it wanted!

    The day a school inspector is to arrive, the classroom has a foul odor. Mr. Rusard can't teach and the kids won't go near the classroom. Cats are also attracted to the smell. Alfred discovers Rudy, the gardener pulled up some valerian plants in the school yard. The roots of valerian smell terrible! Oddly enough, cats love the odor! When Cynthia's magic jumping beans for the class magic show go missing, she's convinced someone is out to sabotage her. Alfred isn't convinced and following the clues he discovers that Cynthia's beans weren't magic at all. They were Mexican Jumping Beans. In other words, they were eggs with moth larva inside. Cynthia's beans merely hatched.

Alfred and his team investigate and they uncover the culprit: The sap-sucking woodpecker. A bird with a distinct taste for syrup. Milo is really worried. He's trying out for the school soccerteam but he's itching like crazy. While he waits in line for the medical check-up, Alfred &Camille race to solve this mystery and discover that the fruit with which he made jam, has little hairs that are the basis of itching powder.     TThe town lake is going to be used for a sporting event but when they go to the lake they see it's covered with foam. They clean it up, but it comes back the next day! Alfred investigates and discovers that Lychee fruit has fallen into the lake. When the water is disturbed, it causes a foaming action. - Cynthia and Milo are both upset when their annual sled race is ruined by the appearance of strange snow rolls on the hillside. Who made them andput them there? Alfred discovers it's mother nature. Strong wind, caused the top snow layer to curl up and roll, creating snow rolls!

    Lily finds Alfred and begs him to save Old Gnarly, the town tree. The tree suddenly went dry and it's set to be cut down. Alfred discovers that some road salt fell on the roots and dehydrated them, hurting the tree. When Milo and others start on an endurance test, they discover the ladder has been sabotaged. The wood is weak. It turns out that termites have been busy eating.

    When a mess happens, Cynthia accuses Milo of ruining her birthday party. He pleads innocence and says an invisible being did it! After collecting clues, Alfred discovers it's a Chameleon who snuck in the party and stole some food. Since his skin blends with the surroundings, no one saw him! Alfred, Camille and Milo at Alfred's house when suddenly something lands on the house, plunging them into darkness. Rushing outside they discover it's the Principal whose hot air balloon crash-landed. Alfred investigates and discovers a flock of herons crashed into his balloon in the thick fog. Their long beaks pierced the balloon and let out all the air.

    During the grand opening of a lakeside fruit stand, a monster attacks. Alfred and the others all saw something different and fight about what they saw. Alfred investigates and discovers a platypus is in the area and was upset since its nesting area was disturbed. When a TV CELEBRITY comes to town, he's suddenly drenched in water and threatens to write a bad review of Gnarly Woods. Alfred discovers he was drenched by a cold-water geyser that's just started erupting.

    When out on a camping trip, the class gets really scared when they find headless beetles covering a tent. Alfred investigates and discovers the beetles are actually seventeen-year cicada - insects that live their lives hidden underground as nymphs (which look like beetles) before crawling to the surface and cracking out of their shells. Milo doesn't know what to write about for the school newspaper. Nothing seems interesting enough - until it starts raining fish! Out of nowhere fish drop from the sky. Alfred, Milo and Camille investigate and discover that a water spout occurred. It's like a tornado but it's over water and often sucks things out of the water, dumping them elsewhere!

    While flying a kite, Alfred and his friends see a lone boat drifting on the lake. They pull it ashore to discover that Grizz has been knocked out. Who did this? While he recovers, Alfred investigates and discovers that flying fish, known as Asian Carp, jumped out of the water, startled Grizz. He fell and hit his head. Alfred's mom is distraught when her blue flowers for the contest turn purple. She really wanted to win first prize this year. Alfred investigates and discovers his dad put down some limestone that changed the chemical makeup of the soil, turning the blue flowers purple.
